Mission Statement

Our Story

The Rosi C Ranch began in 2017 as a family-owned and operated farm, created in honor of
Rosi Caroline, the family matriarch. Initially, it was simply a place for people to brush
horses and find moments of calm.

Over time, the ranch expanded beyond its simple beginnings. It now features six acres with
wooded trails, several named pastures, and essential equine farm operations leased by
Vern Acres LLC. (Vern is the family patriarch) The addition of a sixty-foot lighted round pen,
a few upgrades to a historic farmhouse, and a 40×60 barn for the herd marked significant
advances.

The ranch has grown to offer opportunities for gardening, relaxation, hammock lounging,
and open ranch time. The community aspect flourished, with life skills training available in
the kitchen, barn office, and through various hands-on projects. Half of the barn was
designed to convert into an event and activity center. Residential stays in one of four
bedrooms support clients as needed. (Suicidal ideation care, goal planning, farm care in
the owner’s absence) A variety of equipment—from tractors to horse trailers—now help
sustain daily farm life.

Meet the Herd

Dallas

Horse Breed

Focusing on process based activities with our equine friends. These activities are designed to provide thought provoking parallels from how you navigate with our herd to provide insight as to how you navigate with your own herd.

Cinnamon

Horse Breed

This mare is just as spicy as her name. She’s eager to please, but has no problem letting you know when she is done. Cinnamon is extremely competitive as loves to watch her opponents in the arena when she travels to shows. She once got untied and blended in with the other horses and riders unnoticed while doing so.

Caroline

Horse Breed

Being the toddler of the herd, you never know what to expect out of this mule. She is a great challenge for those looking for one, but is sweet enough that she still demands affection. We have high hopes in the future for her as a pack and cart mule to add another dimension to our program!

Dakota

Horse Breed

He may be our grandpa of the herd, but he is solid and very dependable. You will never meet a sloppier eater than this gentle giant and he never disappoints when you need a friend.
